How does EP Design Studio help you?
1) Conceptual Design
We start off the design phase by creating early conceptual designs, which helps to finalize the overall vision of the space. Think floor plans and layouts for fixed items like cabinetry, along with exploring initial ideas for color palettes, finishes, and materials.
2) Specifying Colors, Finishes, etc.
Now we get into the real fun part of the project.. specifying those specific finishes, fixtures, colors, and more! With the feedback you’ve given during the discovery & conceptual design phase — your designer will now be able to source them all to help bring the vision to life. This is where Full Service Design has it’s major perks. You’ll be presented with a variety of selections for flooring, countertops, tile, paint colors, etc. that all work together beautifully. As the client, you won’t actually need to fit time in your schedule to find these selections on your own. We know you’re busy! This process should be fun for you, not overwhelming. This is why a full service designer will use their professional knowledge and creativity to find the best selections that work with the design vision you’re aiming for. We want you to have a elevated client experience by not having to do the hard work!
3) Design Management
But wait — there’s more! We don’t just stop after the design phase and then send you to fend for yourself throughout the build process. After your approval of the colors & finishes, your designer will stay on the project to collaborate with your builder and offer full design management support.
What does that look like? That means your builder will receive organized construction documents detailing the design and selections made for the space. They will have a reliable design professional to help clarify any design questions and troubleshoot design issues that can happen during the build. Your designer will also schedule in site visits to check on the progress and ensure that the design is being fully executed to our vision. We believe trade collaboration is 100% key to a successful and efficient project! It’s just one more thing that we offer our full service design clients.
